I get bored easily ever so often with my looks. 'Change is constant.' It's easy to change the way you dress. You can always channel you inner fashionista or the likes of your favorite celebrity styles. But change is also within. I get bored with my own hairstyle and love, love, love to experiment. The color of my hair changes every two to three months, depending on the season. My mother is not very pleased, as she insists, from her own experience, that with all the chemicals and harsh treatment, I will be bald soon. I guess I'm up for looking into wigs. Sorry mom... If I'm feeling up for a challenge, I show up at a salon requesting to add some volume, layers, color or chop the darn thing off, BUT do not touch my bangs. I've been chopping my own since junior high. The way the other ladies would cut it didn't satisfy me. It always ended up being too short and made me look eight.
Recently, I took a pair of scissors and decided to blunt my bangs. I've worn it straight every now and than but mostly had it swept to the side. It's all about experimenting, having trust in yourself, guiding your hands. Bangs are an easy way to update your look. Whether it's fringe, bold, or side swept. You're guaranteed to have options in the way you wear your hair. Grab a pair of scissors and try it out. (That is, if you trust your hands) You can always go to a hair stylist and ask for bangs as well. Still not fully committed to the idea? Gather your hair in the front and pin them underneath with a bobby pin, to act as bangs. It will give you a preview of what you'd look like. Here are some styles from famous celebs who sport the look. xoXo.
